Project Description
Last November (2012) I had the good fortune to make the acquaintance of Brian Ray from Paul McCartney’s band. Brian sent us his Gibson custom shop Vic DaPra burst for some tweaking. He was happy with the factory finish so we did some light checking and binding wear on the guitar. We also rolled the fingerboard binding, installed vintage correct celluloid inlays, and supplied all aged Montreux parts. We installed a set of original PAFs that Brian supplied, including a double white. This is one great looking guitar now.
