Here is an example of a mid 50s gold top style finish. All the parts are from the 1950’s, the fingerboard is Brazilian rosewood and the bindings and inlays are period correct in colour and pattern.

This is a bound tele custom I built around  a bunch of old parts I had.
This burst  has a strong red component in it and features oxblood sides like the earlier tele customs.

This is a complete conversion that we just finished. We installed a new top, quartersawn old growth fingerboard with correct cellulose inlays, royalite binding, removed the truss-rod “condom”, and reassembled with hide glue. Many of the parts on this particular guitar are vintage, including the bigsby.
